Palmer man faces numerous charges in Big Lake stalking event

On 1/29/2019, approximately 10:15 p.m., Alaska State Troopers investigated a reported stalking event in Big Lake.

Investigation revealed 39 year old Miles J Walker of Palmer was on current DOC conditions of release stemming from a domestic violence arrest. These conditions prevented him from have any contact with the adult family member. This night Walker attempted to contact the female at a business near mile 5 Big Lake Road. Walker then proceeded to follow her, and another male adult, throughout the Big Lake area before using his vehicle to stop her vehicle on a residential road where he engaged in an argument with them both before driving into the ditch allowing the female and male to flee the area.

Walker was located at a nearby residence and taken into custody without incident before being remanded to MSPT without incident.
