Willow man arrested

On 2/11/2019 at 10 a.m., South Central SERT, CNT, Helo-3 with a TFO, and Palmer Troopers responded to a residence on Barehook Street in Willow for a high risk warrant service to arrest Siegfried Pedersen, 63 of Willow.

Upon arrival, Pedersen was observed entering his residence. He ignored the presence of AST and ignored multiple commands to exit the residence. SERT gained access to the inside of Pedersen’s residence and multiple tactics were used to dislodge Pedersen, to include the use of chemical munitions.

SERT members eventually went inside the residence but were not able to locate Pedersen on the initial sweep. K9 Skippy was deployed into the home and was able to indicated that a person was in the crawl space. Pedersen was removed from the crawl space and taken into custody.

Pedersen was not injured during the incident and was also cleared by EMS prior to being transported to MSPT where he was held without bail for several felony warrants to include; Felony Probation Violation on the original charges of MIW 2 x(2) and Assault 3 x(2).
