LOST DOG: Big Lake Area

Pets and Animals"LOST DOG: Big Lake Area - our dog of 12 years, Hamlet is missing from the Beaver Lake Road 4-way stop area. Random, unexpected fireworks from neighbors frightened him Saturday night; we've not been able to find him since about 7:00pm, Saturday, January 10th.

He is brownish/orange with black on his back and white on his chest and small white spots on some of his paws. He has small, semi-erect ears, he has a growth on his tail and is hard of hearing. When we got him we were told he was Rottweiler/Shar pei but he looks more German Shepard with a boxy head. He does NOT have his collar/tags on. He is micro-chipped but we believe the number listed is an old home phone # we no longer have and the shelter who chipped him isn't open until Tuesday.

We are anxious to find him as he's getting older, is an indoor dog and is our boy - we miss him desperately. He is friendly, but skittish and is likely disoriented not knowing where he is. Please call 841-1744 or 354-7216 or comment with any information and we appreciate any shares. Thanks!"

A dog friend of mine got scared by fireworks once and hid herself in the space under the closet. I don't know how she fit!

Hoping he comes home soon.

I hope this ends well, my dog ran off before but she eventually came home. Maybe he's chasin' a piece of tail, that what Vlad did. Anycase let us know one way or the other please.

That is great news, thanks for the update. Get him a collar with the GPS so next time (hopefully there won't be one) he can be found quicker.
