In the 10 years hence, The Big Lake Times has never sold out to Outside Media Conglomerates as is the case with most other 'media producers', and never will. We have never charged anyone, or blocked You with a "Paywall" while tricking you, to read the news or comment. Instead, we use that time and talent to publish only Sourced and Triple-Verified News articles, rather than "Click-Bait" or dubious, clearly biased "articles" with the sole intention of attracting a controversy.

An allegedly intolerant Army Veteran walked into Beautiful Big Lake after falling from the sky into the pleasurably cool waters of Big Lake and said Self, this here is a nice little town, shall we see if we may contribute a little?
So I serve my Community in my Capacity and skills. Ain't no need to thank me, it's just Our Way, and maybe it will catch on. The little town I grew up in, Minco Oklahoma, is a nice little town like Big Lake.

A boat races to recover a paratrooper of the 1st Battalion (Airborne) 501st Infantry Regiment after he conducted a parachute training and water landing exercise at Big Lake, Alaska, July 22. Several hundred troopers from the battalion trained extensively in preparation for the maneuver, jumped from UH-60 helicopters, staged at a nearby airfield, into Big Lake and were brought safely to shore by rubber boats.
